Liability waiver: I understand and I am aware that martial arts training, sparring, conditioning, strength, flexibility and aerobic exercise, including the use of equipment, indoors or outdoors, is potentially hazardous. I also understand that exercise and martial arts activities involve a risk of injury and even death, and that I / my child, are voluntarily participating in these activities and using equipment and facilities with the knowledge of the dangers involved. I hereby agree to assume and accept all and any risks of injury or death. I do hereby waive, release and discharge North East Martial Arts and its instructors from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries or damages resulting from me / my child participating in martial arts and exercise, or me / my child's use of equipment or facilities in the above mentioned activities. I acknowledge that I / my child are either physically well and know of no reason why I / they should not participate in martial arts training and associated exercise, or I / they have either had a physical examination and have been given my doctors permission to participate, or that I / they have decided to participate in activity and use equipment without the approval of a doctor and do hereby assume all responsibility for my / their participation.

Teens & Adults TKD

Ages 14 +. Taekwon-do requires a lot of mental concentration, as a result, when you are at taekwon-do you won't be thinking about what a hard day you have had at work or home. When you kick the pads the stress will flow out of you and at the end of a tough training session you will feel transformed.

Taekwon-do is great for developing a lean, flexible body. The techniques we perform strengthen the muscles, increase range of motion and build a strong core. 

We also like to have a good laugh at taekwon-do and are always up for a night out or a trip to the local after class.

Our instructors are enthusiastic, friendly black belts with years of martial arts experience, public liability insurance and clear, enhanced DBS checks. They try to blend the traditional side of martial arts with a relaxed, modern approach to coaching.

An average class begins with a group warm-up followed by line work, hitting pads or sparring drills with some fitness and flexibility training included!

For you trail session, your will need a bottle of water and comfortable clothing. Most new starters wear a t-shirt with joggers or leggings.
